My Beauty Routine

We have to take care of our temples! My beauty routine is about keeping it simple, clean and nourishing. I'm not a beauty expert, I just enjoy taking good care of my body. Everyone defines clean beauty in different ways, but to me it's about being as simple and as recognizable with the ingredients.  I use the Think Dirty app to scan barcodes on beauty products to see the rating of how "clean" they are. However, I'll also do a drugstore face mask with friends and not stress about what is in it.   Face I KISS my face (keep it simple, stupid) Face Wash - I use organic jojoba oil and rinse it off with a hot wash cloth. Face Moisturizer - At night (because it looks a little greasy) I use rosehips oil. You can give yourself a little massage too! Face Sprays - To refresh myself in the morning, I mist a rose water spray simply because it feels nice. Journal Questions to Ask Yourself

Sometimes, many times, we need to stop and check in with ourselves mentally. One way that I do that is through journalling (or talking to a loved one or therapy). To get myself to think about something in a new way, I occasionally use prompts like the ones below. I encourage you to read through the questions and see if some resonate with you. If you are at an inflection point in your life, need to move on from something, looking a new direction, etc - giving yourself the time and space to reflect may help you uncover patterns and priorities.  Purpose What do you look forward to doing the most?
